Cabinet
The Cabinet was established by the Council at its Annual meeting
on 26 May 2011.
The Cabinet carries out the Council's functions which are not
the responsibility of any other part of the local authority,
whether by law or under the Constitution.
The members of the Cabinet for 2011/12 are:
Andrew Johnson (Leader of the Council)
Eddie Johnson (Deputy Leader of the Council & Portfolio
Holder for Governance))
Simon Carter (Portfolio Holder for Resources)
Joel Charles (Portfolio Holder for Community &
Citizenship)
Tony Hall (Portfolio Holder for Environment)
Russell Perrin (Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and
Enterprise)
Clive Souter (Portfolio Holder for Housing)
