Harlow Population Profile (2008)

Draws together a range of statistics from different sources that describe Harlow’s population. In particular, this document includes population information that has been produced that may reflect different communities of interest, and therefore may enable a greater understanding of equalities issues in Harlow.

 

Key Statistics Bulletin (2007-08)

Produced each quarter; the Key Statistics Bulletin gives the latest figures about local people and the economy.  We compare these with Essex, the East of England region & UK/GB figures where we can.

 

Harlow Economic and Labour Market Statistics

Describes and analyses short and long-term economic and labour market trends for Harlow. Provides information about wages for residents and non-residents, as well as key figures about the number and type of businesses operating in the town. It also gives information about the number and type of jobs in Harlow. It compares these figures regionally and nationally where possible.

 

Indices of Deprivation 2007

The Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) 2007 measures just how poor some of our local areas are compared to other areas in England.

 

Harlow Ward Profiles

The Harlow Ward Profiles list economic and social data about Harlow's 11 wards. Each shows individual ward data for Harlow’s wards. The data available covers:-

  • IMD: deprivation information for Harlow’s wards by Super Output Area
  • Housing: Tenure, living arrangements
  • Income Levels: worklessness rates / unemployment
  • Employment and Jobs: Resident workforce, Education & Qualifications

 

Harlow Baseline Study Report (2002)

Based on 2001 Census data, the Harlow Baseline Study Report sets out key data around a range of subjects from employment, to education, health and community safety.
