The Indices of Deprivation study is designed to help us understand which areas of England are most affected by deprivation. The study details information about a range of deprivation issues. From this information, we are able to see the connections and relationships between deprivation issues; for example, levels of high unemployment and low skills being linked to higher levels of crime in certain areas.
