Harlow provides a host of leisure sport, the Arts, Culture &
Heritage opportunities for residents, visitors and workers in the
town.
Harlow Town
Park is 164 acres with scenic landscapes, riverside
walks, sculptures, adventure playground, skatepark and large
outdoor paddling pool (open school summer holidays only). It also
plays host to Harlow Pets Corner.
Pets Corner
is much more than its name suggests. Pets Corner holds rare breeds
of cows and pigs, reindeer, llamas, sheep, donkeys, exotic reptiles
as well as the usual smaller domestic pets.
Also worth visiting is Parndon Wood
Nature Reserve.
Paddling pools
- Harlow has 6 Paddling Pools open during the school summer
holidays. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an
adult. No bikes, dogs or glass to be taken into the pool.

The Harlow
Show and annual Firework Display held on Harlow
Showground is situated in the the Town park, both these
events attract large numbers of visitors. The Showground is
also the venue for the annual fun fair and circus visits to Harlow
as well as community events such as Cancer Research Race for
Life.
