Fairtrade Town Trail
Shoppers were invited to take part in the Town Trail during
Fairtrade fortnight 2009. Participating business who stock
Fairtrade products displayed one of the Harlow Town Trail posters
in their shop window: shoppers followed the map and marked it to
show which poster appeared in each location.
The entries with the most correct answers were enetred into
a draw conducted by Council Chairman Tony Hall. The
winning entry was submitted by Mrs Jeanne Kensit, who won a bag of
Fairtrade goodies donated by the Co-operative Membership.
Mrs Kensit came to the Civic Centre with her friend Lynn
Ram to receive her prize from Harlow Council's Chief Executive, Mr
Malcolm Morley.

The prize was a reusable shopping bag of Fairtrade
Goodies donated by Harlow Co-operative Membership and a bag of
Estima Coffee beans, donated by Starbucks Harlow
