Fairtrade in Schools and Colleges
This scheme is for young people and adults working together with
young people being encouraged to take the lead. A teacher
will need to register your school: once registered you will receive
the Fairtrade e-newsletter and be able to start uploading your

Mark Hall (secondary)
Has had a healthy eating Fairtrade Café run by students for past
two years and is very successful.
Passmores (secondary)
Has held Fairtrade events
St Mark’s West Essex Catholic School
Has very successful Young Enterprise Groups (Fair Play and The
Fairtrade Cafe) in Year 10. Both Groups got through to the
finals of local Youth Enterprise competitions. The groups have had
regular stalls in school as well as at after school events such as
the Town Show and International Women's Day at the Playhouse.

During the 2006-2007 Stewards started an active student group
supporting FT, ran some stalls and got staff
