The Anti-social Behaviour
Enforcement Team is a highly motivated and experienced team who are
committed to resolving issues of anti-social behaviour.
Anti-social Behaviour
covers a whole complex of thoughtless, inconsiderate or malicious
activity and has perhaps the greatest potential to blight the
quality of community life.
The Anti-social Behaviour
Enforcement Team works in partnership with other agencies including
Essex Police, The Fire Service, Social Services and Education who
bring to bear a co-ordinated and strategic approach to a problem,
the Team have the authority to use the full range of tools and
powers available some of those powers include Acceptable Behaviour
Contracts, Anti-social Behaviour Orders, Crack House Closures,
Dispersal Orders and Anti-social Behaviour Injunctions.
The Team is also made up
of Enforcement Officers who resolve problems or Enforce legislation
on crimes against the Environment including Dog fouling in public
open spaces, litter, fly-tipping, flyposting and graffiti, officers
have the power to issue Fixed Penalty Notices to offenders of such
crimes.
