of vital importance in Harlow. We want play to be inspiring and
enjoyable, promoting achievement and a healthy lifestyle, whilst
being safe and inclusive.

Volunteering Opportunities for Young People
-
a project aimed at young people over 16 years of age who would
like to gain voluntary work experience in the community. Funded
through the European Social Fund, money is available to pay for
participants childcare when volunteering.

Ethnic Minority Young People - issues
specifically relating to ethnic minorities.

Adfam - an organization that supports families affected by
substance misuse (drugs & alcohol) - and who are helping DCSF
with putting together a training programme on substance misuse for
FIP workers.
The competition is for a family member to write a poem or story
or a piece of art work about being affected by someone else’s drug
use. The winners get a cash prize and are given a formal invitation
to Adfam’s Candlelit carol concert at St Brides where a celebrity
will read out the winning entries.
