The Civil Contingencies Act 2004
came into force on 1st April 2005. This Act places a responsibility

mid-May 2006. Harlow Council is developing a strategy to deliver
this duty and further information will appear here in due
course.
In the meantime if you have any
queries then please look at the following websites for further
information :-
Please remember, your business could be at risk in the
event of a major disruption.
The Manchester bomb in
1996 demonstrated that 80% of firms with no plans in place who are

The World Trade Centre –

Using the
Business

self-assessment, you will be able to view a personalised graph that
identifies potential gaps within the business, data and event
threat areas. This is a link to the IBM website
