Duties
- Assess local risks and use this to inform county emergency
planning.
- Maintain Harlow Council's emergency plans.
- Develop Business Continuity Management arrangements.
- Arrange for information available to the public about
civic protection matters and maintain arrangements to warn,
inform and advise the public in the event of an emergency.
- Co-operate and share information with other local
responders resulting in improved co-ordination and
efficiency.
- Provide advice and assistance to business and voluntary
organisations about business continuity management.
