Parliamentary Elections
A General Election is held when Parliament is dissolved and
every seat in the House of Commons becomes
vacant. Each constituency in the UK elects one MP
(Member of Parliament) to a seat in the House of Commons.
There is currently 650 constituencies in the UK.
The Harlow Constituency covers the whole of the Harlow District
plus part of Epping Forest District.
