Rolling Registration
If you find that you are not on
the Electoral Register or you move house during the year you can
apply to go on the Register through Rolling Registration.
Contact the Electoral Services office who will post a registration
form out for you to complete. Please note that all residents
wishing to register must sign and date the application
form. You should also provide a previous address, so
we can notify the previous authority that you have moved to
Harlow and request that they remove your name from their
register. Please read all the notes on the form
carefully.
The Electoral Register is updated on a monthly basis (January
-September) however, rolling registration applications must be
received by a cut off date which is calculated according to the
Representation of the People Act (1983) and Regulations
(2001). The table below gives the deadline dates
for 2011/12:

Applications received after Friday 10th August 2012 will be
added to the register published on 1st December 2012 after the
annual canvass.
Please note that the timetable for elections is calculated
differently and applications to be added to the Electoral Register
for elections must be received 11 days before the day of
poll.
