Wildspace

What is Wildspace!

From fun days to workdays, guided walks to evening talks, the Wildspace! project is encouraging schools, youth groups, communities and individuals to get more from Harlow’s green spaces and have fun while doing so!

The Wildspace! project began in February 2004 and is funded to work alongside local communities and interested groups to encourage greater use and appreciation of wildlife sites as well as increasing biodiversity and amount of Local Nature Reserves for everyone to enjoy.

In particular, the Biodiversity Officer’s role will include encouraging young people to understand more and get more from their local environment, with opportunities to get involved in caring for and managing sites for wildlife.
