Repairs and Improvements to your home

Improvements to your home

You must ask for our permission before you add, alter, replace or improve anything in your home. If you do not do this we may ask you to:

  • change your home back to how it looked before you made these changes.
  • pay us to carry out the work.

The work you carry out must be done under our specifications and meet the building regulations. You must have got any necessary planning permission.  You must repair and pay for any damage you have caused to your home by adding your own fixtures and fittings.

If you change any fixtures or fittings, you will be responsible for any future repairs to them.

You must let us, or our agents, into your home to inspect and repair, improve or disinfest your home or anyone else's home. We will ususally give you 7 days' notice unless it is an emergency.

You must let us into your home once a year to service your gas appliances.
