WHAT DOES PAPWORTH HOUSING ADVICE DO?
We offer advice and assistance to vulnerable
home-owners and private tenants who are elderly or disabled or have
a disabled child residing with them and who wish to repair, improve
or adapt their homes. We will also advise on solutions to
prevent accidents within your home, address your security concerns
and assist you in claiming any benefits you may be entitled to.
WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT FROM US?
We help you to achieve the repairs,
improvements and adaptations to your home.
We will guide you through the entire process
of making decisions, organising finance and overseeing the building
work and other technical matters.
We strive to give a high quality of
service.
PRACTICAL HELP
We help you identify the building work needed
and select an appropriate contractor. We will obtain
estimates and will help you complete grant applications, if this is
appropriate. We will liaise, with your permission, with
Social Services, the Benefits Agency, Local Authority Grants
Department, Voluntary and Welfare Agencies, as and when necessary
on your behalf. We will monitor building work in progress to
ensure good standards are maintained.
