Harlow Council cannot be held responsible for
the practices of sports clubs on this list. When considering
joining a new sports club it is worth noting that a club holding
the Clubmark award has a good structure as well as being Active,
Accessible and Accredited.
Harlow Council recommends that before joining
a sports club you check:

- It is affiliated to the relevant governing body
- It has appropriately qualified coaches
- It has equity and child protection policies
- It has necessary levels of insurance
