Manifesto Statement
Young people out there are of two types; 1st
type - shy people, second type - outgoing. As a youth
councillor I would represent all young people of all types to my
utmost. So trust me!!
Sub Group and
Responsibilites
PR Team: Ensure that
promotional material is available, arrange help for actual event
days, organise rotas, make sure stalls set up, ensure press
informed, etc. Check with school reps and Education Rep that
display boards are up to date.
Deputy Spokesperson: Speak to
the press to make statements on behalf of the youth council.
Need knowledge of press protocol. Help with the design of all
publicity including posters, leaflets and information
handouts. Be prepared to be interviewed at short notice.
