Manifesto Statement
I want to be a youth councillor because I want
to make changes and improve things concerning young people and I
also want to get young people's voices heard across Harlow and the
UK.
Sub Group
YouthBank/Funding Representative
– Responsibility to attend YouthBank meetings as a
partnership representative, to receive YouthBank information and to
take a lead role in submitting funding applications to the
YouthBank and other organisations.
As a volunteer, I have:
I was elected as a Harlow Youth
Counicllor. I was chosen to be the YouthBank and Funding
Representative for the youth council. I am also working on
the Cafe Youth project.
Contribution to the work of my project
and community:
My work has directly helped to give young
people in Harlow somewhere safe to meet and socialise off the
streets.
Relation to personal/career
plans:
When I leave full time education, I would like
to be a pilot and have a successful business of my own.
