Manifesto Statement
I think you should vote for me because I, as a
peer mentor, could help students get through personal issues.
I feel the transport in Harlow needs improving and I would campaign
for cheaper tickets.
Sub Group and
Responsibilities
PR Team:
Ensure that promotional material is
available, arrange help for actual event days, organise rotas, make
sure stalls set up, ensure press informed, etc. Check with
school reps and Education Rep that display boards are up to
date. Work on the design of all publicity
including posters, leaflets and information
handouts.
Achievements
As a volunteer I have gained presentation
skills, speech training and attended the holocaust memorial
event.
I have gained confidence and have been the
voice to other people in the area.
This relates to my personal/career plans as
when I leave school I would like to be a teacher. The speech
and presentation skills training will help me with the
children.
