Manifesto Statement
My confidence and speaking skills can improve
the image of Harlow with your vote. The closure of The Square
is problematic; it will give us, teenagers, one less place to
go. I WILL resolve this.
Sub Group and
Responsibilities
Special Project Team Member (currently Café Youth)
– Responsibility to attend all youth café meetings, to
receive all youth café information and to disseminate information
to subgroup and full youth council meetings.
Nb. although the current special project is Café Youth,
this may change.
As a volunteer, I have:
I was offered a place as a youth councillor
after someone resigned and I accepted the position. I am
currently working on the Cafe Youth Management Team to improve/run
the cafe.
Contribution to the work of my project
and community:
Cafe Youth is a place for youths to "hang
out". eat Fairtrade food at cheap prices, keep off the streets and
play fun games.
Relation to personal/career
plans:
When I leave school, I intend to be in a
career where I work with people; maybe in a medical career.
