Manifesto Statements
As an existing Youth Councillor I would like
to carry on my work with the Youth Council, as I have achieved a
lot and would like to achieve more.
Sub Group and
Responsibilities
Leisure, Town Park and Active Harlow
Representative - Responsibility to attend all relevant
meetings and consultations, to receive all information and to
disseminate information to subgroup and full youth council
meetings.
Achievements
As a volunteer I have sat in meetings, chaired
and taken minutes. I have achieved a 2020 award, a Jack
Petchey award and a Young Citizen’s Award. I have helped to
create a training pack in participation and had lots of other
training.

This has contributed to the work of my project
and community by helping young people have a voice and by helping
other youth people and adults train in training they wouldn’t have
had before. I have got lots of young people to do new
things.
This relates to my personal/career plans as by
having presentation and confidence and speaking training, this
would help with any job and by volunteering it will look good on my
CV. I like helping with young people. I enjoy putting
in new things – other people’s happiness is my happiness. :)
