Harlow Bus Terminus

Situated within the west side of Harlow Town Centre the Bus Station caters to companies providing both local travel services and travel to destinations throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

Harlow Bus Station has all the facilities a traveller would expect from a major terminus, including an enclosed heated long stay waiting room, covered stands, a drinks vending machine, toilet facilities and a baby changing room.

Visitor Information Point logoVisitor Information Point

The Visitor Information Point hosts a variety of information for residents, visitors and businesses on what Harlow has to offer, as well as further afield. Similar to a tourist information centre, the Visitor Information Point provides information on a range of topics, from what to see and do, where to eat and shop, where to stay, maps, brochures and leaflets, but also offer a range of travel services and information such as timetables and tickets. The Visitor Information Point can be contacted for bookings and information on 01279 426349.

The Visitor Information Point is open:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5pm
  • Saturday: 11am to 2pm
  • Sundays, Bank Holidays, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day - Closed

Passenger lounges are open:

  • Monday to Saturday: 7am to 7.30pm
  • Sundays and Bank Holidays: 9am to 5pm
  • Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day - Closed

Public toilets are open:

  • Monday to Saturday: 7am to 7.30pm
  • Sundays and Bank Holidays: 10am to 2pm
  • Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day - Closed

    The Changing Places Toilet is a facility for People with profound and multiple learning disabilities, as well people with other physical disabilities such as spinal injuries, muscular dystrophy and multiple sclerosis often need extra equipment and space to allow them to use the toilets safely and comfortably.

  • National Express: Tickets to over 500 destinations within Europe and Ireland including airport travel. Senior citizens, families and disabled travellers can save 1/3 on standard ticket prices by buying the Coachcard for £10 a year. Full time students can also save 1/3 on standard travel in addition to 10% off travel events and festivals with the Young Persons Coachcard.
  • Lodge Coaches: Tickets for day trips and short breaks from Lodge Coaches.
  • Richmond's Coaches: Tickets for day trips, holidays and private hire from Richmond Coaches a member of the Guild of British Coach Operators.

Bus Pass

If you live in England and are of retirement age or an eligible disabled person, you are entitled to an English National Concessionary Bus Pass. Essex residents who are applying for an older persons or disabled persons bus pass for the first time can apply to Essex County Council.
