A fabulous smorgasbord of family storytelling sessions and arts and crafts workshops will be on offer for all ages and backgrounds. Try your hand at wycinanki, the traditional Polish folk art of paper-cutting, join in our rhyming storytelling sessions, or take your seat for a performance by the Polish Saturday School…

There’ll be something for everyone. No booking required.

Large-scale artwork, popping up on walls around Harlow

Polish street artist YOLA (Jola Kudela) creates beautiful murals, claiming public space to celebrate the diversity of communities around the world. Her work recreates old masters, with locally based people taking the place of those in the paintings.

The Harlow Playhouse back wall and St Paul's Church will be covered in large murals. The final artwork is being revealed at Essex Book Festival’s Meet the Neighbours day.
