The Council's Home Ownership Team are gathering information from Leaseholders in Council owned buildings to see how we are doing, and to help the Council improve on its services to Leaseholders.

Draft Homelessness Strategy Consultation 2015
The Council in collaboration with local organisations (partner agencies) wishes to provide the best possible service to local residents to tackle homelessness. The Council consulted on users and partners (homeless practitioners) on their experience of the homeless service in Harlow in order to help improve the services in the future.

Tenant and Leaseholder Engagement 2015 Consultation
Harlow Council appointed HQN (Housing Quality Network) to complete an independent review of the Council’s current tenant and leaseholder engagement structure. As part of the review, HQN sought the views of Harlow Council tenants and leaseholders about how the Council engages and involves tenants and leaseholders in its decision making and the changes it makes to services. Communal window cleaning service for flat blocks 2014 consultation
Harlow Council asked Council leaseholders and tenants for their views on whether a communal window cleaning service for flat blocks should be introduced.
The consultation ran from 13 January to 6 April 2014.
- Results: The final report on consultation on cleaning windows in flat blocks was presented to the Housing Standards Board on 30 September 2014 with the recommendation that this should not be taken further. It was noted that there had been a low return on the consultation.
Draft Tenancy Strategy 2013 consultation
The Council consulted on the Draft Tenancy Strategy, which gives guidance to Registered Providers on the type of tenancies the Council wants to see let in the district and sets out the Councils position in terms of letting its own Council homes.

Housing Allocations 2012 consultation
The Council reviewed the Allocations Policy against national and local priorities and consulted with our applicants and existing tenants together with our partner organisations.
