Licence summary

If you wish to show, demonstrate or perform a hypnotism act in public, you must have authorisation from the local authority. You must comply with any conditions attached to an authorisation.

Applicants must have appropriate public liability insurance in place for any proposed events.

When we receive your application, we will check the documentation you provide to make sure that appropriate insurance is in place.

Failed application redress

Please contact Harlow Council in the first instance. Any applicant who is refused a licence or wants to object to a condition on the licence can appeal to their local magistrates' court within 21 days of receiving notice of the decision.
