Cookery Festival June - August - part of the 60th
anniversary celebrations
Saturday 30th June - Caribbean
Come and join a Caribbean afternoon from 1-3pm at the Museum of
Harlow. You can try a variety of traditional Caribbean dishes such
as rice and peas, saltfish fritters and jerk chicken and relax to
the sounds of Harlow steel band while you reminisce about life in
Harlow.
Saturday 21st July - Chinese
Chinese celebration. Drop into the Museum gardens between 1-3pm
for a chance to sample some authentic Chinese food, see a
demonstration of traditional noodle making and see performances of
Chinese music and dancing.
Saturday 18th August - Traditional picnic
Between 1-3pm, members of the Church Langley Women's Institute
will be in the Museum gardens to give out ideas of healthy picnic
fayre. They will be joined by Harlow Brass who will be performing
during the afternoon. Why not bring along your own picnic and enjoy
the afternoon.
