New Year Walk
New Year's Day, 1pm-2pm
Parndon Wood Nature Reserve (meet at the
visitor centre at 1pm)
Start off 2010 with fresh air and a leisurely stroll around your
local woodland. There will also be a special treasure trail
for children to join in too. Afterwards you can warm up by
the campfire and treat yourself to a mince pie!
Parndon Wood Nature Reserve will also be open to the public on
New Year's Day from 11am-4pm. Here people can explore the
wildlife trail, drop-in to the bird hides to see the birds feeding
and visit the visitor centre where there will be crafts and
activities for children.
