Want advice on starting your own business?

Harlow Council is working with Business Link to provide more opportunities for local people who want to find out more about starting their own business.

The Civic Centre is the new venue for two new Business Link ventures supported by Harlow Council.

From September local residents will be able to attend monthly surgeries and workshops aimed at providing advice on starting up your own business or becoming self-employed.

Harlow Council Chairman Tony Hall is seeking to support small businesses and entrepreneurs during his year as Chairman:

"I am very pleased that Harlow Council is able to support this initiative and enable more local people to get the advice they need which is so important to the success of setting up in business or self-employment. I would encourage anyone who has an idea or is even just thinking about starting up to come along and chat with Business Link to explore the possibilities and opportunities that may be there for them."

Business Link spokesperson Bidemi Alabi said:

"Business Link is working closely & in partnership with local stakeholders to ensure that would be entrepreneurs and start up businesses get the best possible support."
