Grants for 60th anniversary events

Organisations that are planning events to celebrate the town’s 60th anniversary can apply for funds from Harlow Council to help meet the cost.

 

The funds will be available through the Council’s small grants scheme. Up to £100 will be available for one off events and groups have until the 23rd February 2007 to make an application.

 

Each event that is funded will also be included as part of the town wide programme of celebrations to mark the anniversary. The programme will be launched in March and run until December 2007.

 

Grants are usually only be given to Harlow based organisations that are properly constituted, non-political and have an elected committee and a bank account. Individuals are not eligible and the events must not be linked to a political group or a campaign.
