Green Waste Collections Are Back
A limited bookable green waste collection service recommenced on
3rd March, meaning Harlow residents will once again be able to book
collections of bagged-up grass and garden clippings (not including
dirt/earth or tree stumps). Bookings can be made for up to eight
bags, which will be collected on the agreed day from the boundary
of the property, securely tied bundles of twigs can also be
collected.
Council spokesperson:
"The collections restart at a time when more and more people are
doing work in their gardens, as the weather improves. This service
is provided by the Council to enable local residents to keep their
homes and gardens in a state the can enjoy.
In line with Harlow Council's commitment to reducing landfill
waste, all the green waste collected will be composted."
