tax, Housing and Garage rents, Service charges, Tenant and
Leaseholder House Contents insurance and Business rates by
credit card or debit card using the phone.
(Please note: Penalty Charge Notice's (PCN's) payments
are no longer taken by Harlow Council. Instead, to pay a PCN,
you need to ring 01206 282700 or pay online at
Parking
Partnership.org)
Please be aware that there is a 2% commission
charge on payments made by Credit Card for Housing and Garage
Rents, Business Rates, Tenant and Leaseholder House Contents
Insurance, Council Tax and Service Charges.
How it works....
Before you phone have the following handy:
- The reference number of the account you wish to pay,
- The amount you wish to pay,
- A pen or a pencil to jot down the receipt number or your
balance,
- Your debit or credit card, of course.
Dial 01279 446600
You will then be guided through the five easy steps of making
the payment. You will be asked to.
- Choose the type of payment you want to make out of the five
options
- Enter the reference number
- Enter the amount you wish to pay
- Enter your card details
- Confirm that you want the payment to go through.
Once you have confirmed that you want the payment to go
through, you will be given your receipt number for the payment.
Done!
If you wish to pay another bill you will be guided back to the
beginning.
