To make sure your building works comply with building regulations, we carry out inspections at particular stages of your works.
You're legally required under the building regulations to tell us when you'll start your building works.
We'll tell you the other stages of your project that you need to notify us so that we can inspect.
We carry out site inspections Monday to Friday, between 10am and 3pm.
You can book a site inspection by using the Local Authority Building Control app
The app is free and if you have GPS on your device, you can send your location directly to us without having to enter an address.
If you need a next-day inspection, you'll need to book it by 5pm the day before.
