Active Harlow Awards

Active Harlow Awards LogoThe aim of the Active Harlow Awards is to celebrate and recognise local sporting talent and achievements in the Harlow area. The awards are nominated by members of the public and organised by Harlow Council.

The event last took place in 2018 and was a big success with over 100 nominations being received and international gymnastics coach Scott Hann MBE presenting the awards.

With the support of our sponsor Strawberry Star and partners Phoenix Live, Active Essex, Skylight Restaurant and Decathlon Harlow, our 2019 event promises to be bigger than ever.

To make it even more exciting, for this year’s awards, the Sports Personality of the Year, Community Club of the Year and Unsung Hero shortlisted finalists will go to a public vote to decide winners and runners-up.

The 2019 event is being held in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre on the evening of 30 October 2019.  There will be a reception with entertainment from Phoenix Live and canapes being provided by Skylight Restaurant in the Gibberd Gallery before the event.

It’s time to nominate your sporting stars.
