We redeveloped a garage site off Tawneys Road in order to build new affordable properties.
The £3.3 million project created 16 new properties on land south of 43 to 56 Bushey Croft, Harlow. The 16 properties consisted of:
- 6 two-bedroom houses
- 10 three-bedroom houses
There are 2 allocated parking spaces per house, plus general car parking for 41 vehicles.
The houses are 100% affordable housing and 30% of properties are at council rent level.

Timeline
A public consultation was held at St. Stephen's Church in Tawneys Road on 26 March 2018, where residents met council representatives and the design team behind the plans.
Planning permission was granted on 31 August 2018 (HW/FUL/18/00189).
We appointed Borras Construction Ltd as the contractor.
Work started in March 2021.
