The Harlow Playhouse is a leading theatre venue providing a wide range of entertainment to the people of Harlow, West Essex and East Hertfordshire. The Harlow Playhouse was opened in 1971 following a community campaign for a theatre facility in the town, and has been operated as a service of Harlow Council since 1996.
The Harlow Playhouse presents a wide a range of entertainment as possible, including drama, music, comedy, dance and family productions.
You can volunteer to become an usher at the Harlow Playhouse and be rewarded with tickets and other benefits.
A café food is supplied by the local Mayfield Bakery, includes a children’s area with games and a TV which shows educational films, puzzles and games for people to play and it is breastfeeding-friendly. The café has replaced the traditional box office at the Playhouse, although you can still buy tickets there.
