In support of Harlow’s small and independent businesses, Harlow Council is urging local people and businesses to promote Harlow Shops Local, a website to promote the diverse range of small and independent businesses operating across the town.
Harlow Shops Local is a dedicated website for businesses to upload and manage their own online content as well as the opportunity to include special offers to encourage residents to support small and independent business by shopping local, especially in the run up to Christmas.
The way people shop and do business has changed dramatically over the years and with the impact of internet shopping, small and independent businesses can sometimes find themselves lost when competing against national chains.
The Harlow Shop Local website already includes a number of local small and independent businesses, but those not already listed are invited to register their business on the website.
