The Regeneration Team are looking to appoint a Deputy Programme Manager to support delivery of its ambitious development schemes, from town centre regeneration, council house building and other regeneration projects.

The post will work alongside the Housing Development and Regeneration Manager to oversee delivery of the Council House Building Programme (CHBP), to construct new, high quality, energy efficient homes for Harlow families. Duties will include identification of new sites and carrying out site validation, preparing reports for Programme and Delivery Boards, through to meeting with contractors and consultants remotely, in-person and on-site during delivery.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced team but confident at working on their own and able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.

You will be required to work with team members, key partners and stakeholders to develop funding solutions for the delivery of regeneration projects.

You may be required to work outside of office hours such as evenings and weekends to carry out and support consultation events.

Experience of working within Construction or Housing/Building Management projects is advantageous, but experience within other project deliveries will be welcomed from ambitious and diligent candidates seeking the next step in their career.

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Andrew Start, Housing Development and Regeneration Manager, on 01279 446456.
