Harlow Council is looking to recruit an Economic Development Officer on a one-year fixed term contract.
The post will be involved in the delivery of a range of services and projects that will support the local Harlow economy. This will include:
-Updating and maintaining the Council’s business website and social media sites
-Coordinating the Bi-monthly Harlow Business Forum
-Supporting the delivery of the Council’s £1m UK Shared Prosperity Funded (UKSPF) programme which includes business support and skills projects
-Gather and analysis local economic data
The successful candidate will be motivated, analytical, and able to manage multiple initiatives running in parallel. In addition, you will have a good knowledge of the local economy and strong communication skills.
