Are you looking for an opportunity to work proactively in a customer focused environment?  As a Housing Systems Analyst Apprentice, you will be learning about the operation of several key ICT systems within the Housing Service. The role will help develop your skills in the provision of system support for current ICT systems and learning about projects which implement new ICT systems and functionality to bring efficiencies to Housing’s business.

The successful apprentice will undertake a Level 4 Software Developer course (distance learning). To qualify for funding applicants must not have achieved a Level 4 qualification or above in the same subject area.

The Business Support Team is responsible for the delivery of ICT projects, system implementations and new functionality to support the Council’s ICT strategy and corporate priorities.

You will be working within a team supporting ICT applications and assisting users.  You will gain experience of data reporting and displaying information in different formats for different audiences. The successful candidate will experience documenting system configuration, carry out training for users and will understand how to produce training guides and materials.

You will work on developing skills assisting with project teams and key stakeholders to develop your abilities to identify business requirements and processes. You will learn the processes and assist with implementing ICT systems as well as working within a pressurised, customer focused environment.

Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a short online competency test as part of the interview process.

Harlow is situated in the M11 corridor, with easy links to Cambridge and North London.
