Pets’ Corner to close temporarily during lockdown

Published date

Pets’ Corner in the town park will close temporarily from tomorrow (Thursday 5 November) until lockdown ends.

The staff and volunteers at Pets’ Corner would like to share the following message with residents:

"Due to the new national restrictions, we will temporarily close to the public once again from Thursday 5 November 2020.

“Although our main facility will be closed, you will be able to see some of our animals outside in the paddocks if you visit the Town Park for exercise. To keep safe please always follow the guidance on socialising outdoors.

“We want to say thank you to all the visitors who have been to see us and the animals since we reopened in the summer. Your support really is appreciated and we will miss you, but we will be back again soon.

“Your safety and protecting people from this virus is the most important thing at this time.

“Rest assured that, although we will be closed, we will be coming in every day to care for the animals, and we hope to be able to keep you updated on how they are all doing in the meantime.

“Please stay safe and we will see you again soon.”
