Harlow Civic Centre reception is now part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme.
Wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower discreetly tells staff that you need additional support, help or a little more time - our staff have been trained to help you.
Not all disabilities are visible – some are not immediately obvious, such as autism, chronic pain, dementia, anxiety, visual or hearing impairment.
Living with a hidden disability can make daily life more demanding for many people but it can be difficult for others to recognise, acknowledge or understand the challenges they face.
We will be supporting the scheme and introducing it at more of our facilities. More details on the scheme will be issued in due course.
