Remembrance Sunday Service

The annual Remembrance Sunday service will take place at the Netteswell Cross War Memorial (CM20 2QD) in the Town Park. 

The event will begin with a parade setting off from Burnt Mill Academy which will make its way to the Memorial for the service.

The service will start at 10.45am. If you're planning to attend the service, we advise you to arrive by 10.30am.

School Lane in the Town Park will be closed between 10am and 12 midday

There will also be other commemorations around Harlow on 11 November:

Potter Street

Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene Church followed by Act of Remembrance at Potter Street War Memorial at 11:00am.

Great Parndon

The WW1 Project Team will be hosting a commemoration at Great Parndon War Memorial at 10:45am.

Harlow churches

Latton, St Mary’s Great Parndon, Churchgate Street Old Harlow, St Paul’s Town Centre and St Andrew’s The Stow will all be including an Act of Remembrance within their Sunday service

Shortly after 11:00am, the churches across Harlow will ring their bells marking the end of the centenary of The First World War.
