Residential Parking

The North Essex Parking Partnership is responsible for residential (including visitor) parking.

To park in residential permit parking areas, you need a permit. If you don't display a valid permit, you may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (fine).

Resident permits

To apply for a resident permit, you need to:

Visitor permits

You can also apply for a paper permit. However, it is cheaper for you to buy visitors permits with MiPermit. Ten permits bought online cost £10 with MiPermit, but £15 if you purchase paper permits. 

To apply for a paper permits, you need to:

  • visit the cash office at Contact Harlow 
  • provide proof of your address (such as utility bill or driving licence)

You will need to display your paper permit in your vehicle.
