If you are concerned about someone sleeping rough in Harlow, you can use StreetLink to report them to us.
Local charity, The Chocolate Run, provide the Harlow Christmas Haven at Great Parndon Community Centre on Abercrombie Way.
The Haven provides accommodation, food, clothing and good company for the homeless and vulnerably housed over the Christmas period.
It will be open from 12.00pm on 23 December 2018 to 12.00pm on 1 January 2019.
You do not need a referral to use the Haven. For more information, look at The Chocolate Run website.
We are working with St Paul’s Church to provide a night shelter for rough sleepers from November 2018 to February 2019 when severe weather is forecast.
To use the night shelter, you need to contact us:

We are open Monday to Friday 9-4.45pm.
If you have a genuine emergency, outside of office hours, you can call 01279 446666.
Local charity Hope4Harlow will be running a night shelter every night from 1 January 2019 to 28 February 2019.
They are working with seven churches, who each commit to providing shelter for one day of the week.
The churches providing the shelter are:
- Potter Street Baptist Church (Sunday)
- St James Church (Monday)
- St Andrew’s Church, The Stow (Tuesday)
- St Stephen’s Church (Wednesday)
- St Mary Magdalene (Thursday)
- St Mary-at-Latton Church (Friday)
- Churchgate Street (Saturday)

Streets2Homes day centre
We work with local charity Streets2Homes to support rough sleepers in Harlow.
Streets2Homes run a day centre for homeless people.
The day centre provides:
- access to housing advice
- health services
- washing facilities
- employment advice and training
The day centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm (open to the homeless for breakfast at 8.45am).
