You'll need to show photo ID to vote in the upcoming elections. No ID? Apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate by 5pm Wednesday 24 April. If you can't vote in person, you still have time to apply for a proxy vote by 5pm on Wednesday 24 April. Find all the key details on our election news page.

 

Walking

Walking is a great way to get fit, explore your local environment and make new friends. There are many opportunities to join walking groups in Harlow. 

Social Strollers

Social Strollers walks are fun, free and social, with a 30 minute or 60 minute option available. 

They meet:

  • every other Friday at Harlow Town Park (School Lane Car Park) at 10am 
  • every Sunday at Parndon Wood Nature Reserve at 11.30am

Town Park walks

The Town Park hosts guided monthly walks which explore different features of the park.

Examples of some past walks include:

  • winter trees walk
  • summer birds walk
  • hedgerows of the Town Park walk

Alzheimer's Society Group

The Harlow Alzheimer’s Society Walking Group meet on the second and fourth Monday of the month. 

The meeting point is the School Lane Car Park in Harlow Town Park. 

Kind and caring volunteers are needed to support the walks.
