Appeal your rating

If you do not agree that your rating reflects the animal welfare standards and risk levels found at the time of the inspection, you can make an appeal.

To appeal your rating, you need to:

• download and complete the appeal form (pdf)
• pay the appeal fee of £160 (for inspection)
• send us the application form within 21 days of us granting your licence

We will then review your rating and tell you our decision within 21 days of receiving your appeal.
