If your property has an alarm, you can register as a key holder, so we can contact you if your alarm goes off and does not stop automatically.
Having a key holder means that if your alarm goes off and does not stop within 20 minutes, we can contact the key holder to get you to visit the property and stop the alarm.
Without a key holder, we may need to break into the property to silence the alarm and change your locks to re-secure the property. We could charge you for the cost of this. So having a key holder could potentially save you money.
If you give us permission, we will also give the information to Essex Police.
