Statement on recent vandalism to Carly Burd’s community allotment project:
We are supporting Carly’s community allotment project (A meal from me with love) by providing the former disused allotment site. We were shocked to learn about the recent vandalism which has taken place.
The local spirit shown and response to the news and the reaction of the wider public has been amazing and that is why this project will not be defeated.
We will continue to work with Carly to help her with this venture which is supporting residents and families with the cost of living.
