Leader confirms Harlow Cabinet changes

Councillor Russell Perrin, Leader of Harlow Council, has confirmed changes to his Cabinet.

The leader has made the following appointments:  

Councillor Mike Hardware becomes the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Strategic Growth, taking on the responsibility for the delivery of major regeneration projects including the town centre and the council housebuilding programme. He will continue to be responsible for the Harlow and Gilston Garden Town project, strategic planning, the local plan, and planning and building control.

Councillor Alastair Gunn moves to Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Housing and is now responsible for council housing management, housing repairs and maintenance, housing allocations, supported housing and tenant and leaseholder participation.

Councillor Stacy Seales has been appointed Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Governance with responsibility for customer services, legal, procurement, Human Resources and IT services.

Councillor James Leppard, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Finance 

Councillor Nicky Purse, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Environment

Councillor Stacy Seales, Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Governance 

The next meeting of the Cabinet on 16 February 2023 will be on the council's budget proposals for 2023 to 2024.
