Women’s Tour rolls through Harlow

Published date

The country’s longest running international stage cycling race, The Women’s Tour, came to town on Tuesday 7 June 2022.

The race featured some of the best female cyclists in the world, who were competing in the second stage of the event which started and finished here in Harlow.

It was a fantastic event with schools and cycling fans cheering the riders on as they set off from the Harlow Innovation Park on London Road. They made their way off through Hatfield Heath to Great Dunmow for the opening intermediate sprint of the stage, then through Felsted, High Easter and Roxwell, before returning to Harlow via Water Lane and finishing up on third Avenue where the race village had been set up.

Here is a gallery of photos and video from the historic day, which perfectly capture what was a great day for Harlow.
